Fall Damage: 141 – The 7th Element Show

15 October 2012 by Adam Bash

Bears.

Plenty I could tell ya’ about bears. Unique among mammals, the beasts are born from their own fetid waste; an endless cycle of wallowing ordure and matted fur. As putrid as your ev’ryday bear might be, they pale in comparison to the fiendish amalgamation known as the sevenbear. Possessing the spirits of the seven prime devils once worshipped by the long-dead Kohotek people, this monstrosity has carved a swath of terror across the New World like a glacier of furry fury.

Also, we talk about Dishonored, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Walking Dead: Around Every Corner, and Borderlands 2‘s new Mechromancer class.

I didn’t even realized I was craving the return of the dreaded sevenbear…until now. It’s like hoping for a new Friday the 13th all your life. Then forgetting about it. Then seeing a trailer for a new one.

Sevenbear, you complete me.

Just stay away from my kids or I will have to die a horrific and bloody death trying to fight you off.

I agree quick saving does take some of the fun out of PC games, and I find myself trying not to overuse it as well. I think it was less apparent back in the day when games were just a “Point A to Point B” affair, like DOOM, but now it definitely impacts the experience more.

Also, you should really really REALLY play Kid Chameleon on #BoR once you’re done with Flashback.

Failing that, play Chakan:The Forever Man

Chakan may be the slowest game in history. It’s also hard as FUCK. I have owned it for some time now.
