Hey guys,

We’re looking to start a regular “guild night” as a sort of ongoing Guild Wars 2 community game night event. How are Tuesday nights for everyone? Not a hard commitment, but more of a general guideline that if we all have free time on Tuesday night around 8:00pm EST we can jump on and play together to help one another out.

Reply with times that work and then I can try to get a more organized post together once I know where everyone is at.

Pretty much any night after 8:30 EST works for me but Tuesdays would be one of the better nights. Thursday is about the only night we have semi-regular conflicts on.

I second that.

Should be alright. 7pm Central might be a bit early for me as Tuesday is normally a workout day as well, but I can try to figure that out or hop on a bit later.

Friday is likely “out”, Monday works slightly better for me than Tuesday, and Wed is an outright conflict with Rocketjump recordings.

OK, I know everyone’s been busy with LIFE, but let’s go with Tuesdays for our guild night for now and see how it goes. I can be on after about 7:15 Central and typically can play a couple solid hours, good enough for whatever content we try to tackle.

I’ll remind everyone on Twitter when it’s closer to Tuesday!

And a reminder for those not aware, but we’re on Darkhaven.

Our first night went off nicely, with a 4 member crew taking down the 5 man dungeon Ascalonian Catacombs :) Whew! That’s a tough set of fights.

Next time, we’ll see where everyone’s at!

Guild Night, as always, is tonight (Tues) if people can show up :)

Steam overlay has proved to be flaky at best for voice chat but Xfire seems to work great. If you want to do voice chat, get it and add daviehugs. If you don’t want to do voice, obviously there’s always in-game text chat.

Is there a second night people wanted as an alternate night? I’m playing metric tons of the game and would be on other evenings in addition to Tuesdays if that meant we could get more guild activities going.

Hey, any one of the leaders want to promote me so I can do certain things restricted to leaders-only (e.g. guild emblem)? I’ve been keeping our upgrades going and even managed to do some recruitment as an officer but certain things are only for the leaders.

If I have the power, I’ll log in at some point today, and DO IT UP! Otherwise, Ben should be able to, I think.

How is Daviehugs not a guild leader? As long as he accepts Todd as our Guild King and Overlord, he should definitely be among the elite staff assigned to assist the great and might Todd in all of his guilding endeavors.

Will do. I will be on tonight around 9pm EST hopefully too.

I’m fully prepared for all of you to ignore this post, but editors/writers and community alike: what night works for you to play Guild Wars 2?

Tuesdays clearly don’t work for everyone and I’m willing to host more than one night after 8 EST (kid bedtime).

So far we have one vote for Wednesday.

Okay, we’re gonna try Wednesdays for the next few weeks. At least that’ll give us a core group of three (Me, NephX, and his friend WolfieFTW) now that my wife has gone MIA in Skyrim.

It was only a matter of time before WolfieFTW joined the group!

Hmmm,… Wed could be tricky but maybe… It’ll depend a bit on RJ recording + whatever else has to be done that day.
