In this Old Game+ Dan reviews the underexposed NES classic StarTropics, a beautiful action RPG very much in the vein of The Legend of Zelda that was heavily influenced by Western culture. The game is generally remembered fondly by those lucky enough to have experienced it back in the 80s, but is StarTropics just as good today as it was 20 years ago? OMG… I’ve played this game. I remember getting to the boss and getting stuck. But it was really cool, I remember thinking something like “Whoa, Dragon Quest + Zelda. Awesome!” but then difficulty hit my childish skills and I failed. XD linthuslythQuote
