This week Jim, Todd and Ben get down to business talking about PS Vita and the future of portable gaming. Then Todd gives his early impressions on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, while Jim tells us about Darkness II. Then Ben says a few words about the recent Syndicate co-op demo, and we all recognize that Toddlers & Tiaras is both sad and funny, like a dead clown.

What is wrong with you guys ;-) !!! ??? !!!

Stranglehold is one of the few games i have play through more than once, its just a great shooter, and if you love destruction, and bullet time this is THE game, and it still looks awesome, i think the levels with rain is just breath talking…just a good movie-shooter-game.

Then somebody dishes on Vanquish…what ?, here we have another “bullet time game”, this is just a great shooter, oohh your getting old and only like to play gears ? well, then i can understand why your would trade in a great and awesome game ;-)

My next guess is, nobody cares for max payne 3 ?

BUT…still a good show, nice to hear a few more people on the show again ;-)

Hahaha! I never said I hated Stranglehold, I just felt it was OK and only got $.35 for it when trading it in. As for Max Payne 3? I’m super excited for it :)

I have zero experience with the Max Payne series, but the third game looks interesting. I never played any of the bullet-time shooters, so this is actually a novel idea for me.

I tried telling my brothers how awesome stranglehold is, when they picked up a x360 last year, but they did not agree ;-) , its just a shame more people did not enjoy that game.

on a different note, i have a really bad feeling about the syndicate game, the key words here are, short, reused maps, bland …. – a lot is riding on that story to be good, and i have a bad feeling about it.

I have the same feeling about Syndicate you do, Peter.

Darkness II –
I think by itself it’s great. It didn’t live up to my expectations though. I’m not digging the cell shading vs. the graphics of the first one (Jackie just looks like a dork to me now). And I preferred the powers of the first game more (where you choose to use black holes vs. them just randomly appearing so you can use).
And if anyone needs a partner to do the online only parts of Vendetta, hit me up.
