Now that it’s heavily discounted, I can definitely recommend Resistance 3 to anyone who is a fan of the series, especially those who may have been put off by the second game. Anyone who might just be discovering Resistance for the first time should look into the “Resistance Collection” to start the story at the beginning and give this finale the context is needs and deserves. “the same god awful ladder climbing animation that is in every Resistance game” That ladder animation is only in Resistance 3. You couldn’t climb ladders at all in RFOM and R2. I haven’t played Burning Skies however, it may have been in that. But oddly, I don’t think the ladder animation looks bad at all. Never understood the complaints about that. GrantQuote

Resistance 3 has the high honor of being “less bad than Resistance 2″. That’s about as much as I can say for it. Martin PerryQuote

I could have sworn there were a few ladders in Resistance 2. When you’re escaping the underwater lab, and in the farmhouses as the SRPA agents move through the suburbs. If not, maybe I was hallucinating it because I hated that ladder animation so much. Ben DanielsQuote
