The Recurring Bosscast: 001 – Love and Video Games

1 November 2012 by Jett Landicho

Welcome to Splitkick’s new bi-weekly podcast, starring Jett from Splitkick, Jason from Inside Gaming Daily, and Mat from Biff Bam Pop! In this debut outing, the trio trade Hurricane Sandy survival stories and gush over Taylor Swift’s hot new album (well, at least Jett does). As far as games go, we go in-depth reflecting on the relationship between the video game hobby we love and our significant others that put up with it. Also discussed on the show are the games we’ve been playing, including Assassin’s Creed III, Dishonored, Skylanders Giants and more!

In mid-show right now but its, uh, boss so far! Good work, can’t wait to hear more :)

Deus Ex:HR was first-person, but moving into cover pulled the camera out to a third-person angle. I dug the game but games like that and Dishonored really come into their own on subsequent playthroughs when you find all the alternate paths you missed the first time.

Can I really listen to it with my kids? Cause ya know, I can’t listen to those “other” podcasts with my kids in the room. ;-)

That’s not a complaint btw.

It’s got the “CLEAN” tag, don’t it? Oh wait I need to check if it’s listed by itself on the iTunes…

It totally is. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-recurring-bosscast/id575551725
