The Recurring Bosscast: 004 – Lisa Needs Braces

12 December 2012 by Jett Landicho

An unusual side-effect to Jason’s wisdom teeth surgery has made him the perfect candidate to be a James Bond villain. At the very least, it doesn’t stop him and the gang from discussing all things related to the holiday season and Ikea Monkey. We also talk about the games we’ve been playing, which includes Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, Assassin’s Creed III, Trine 2: Director’s Cut and a whole lot more.

When I was married just over nine years ago, my wife and I had the tinsel argument. I lost.

Steff is pro-tinsel, and was heartbroken to hear that tinsel is apparently not in style anymore.

If your tree doesn’t have tinsel, what does it have, if I may ask? Inquiring minds want to know.

We’ve got lights, a topper, and ornaments. That’s all.

From the Canadian version of Shark Tank: a woman pitched her “Amplify Tree”, which was meant to be a Christmas tree that can be re-decorated to match any occasion. The end result is really creepy

That’s both incredible and terrifying. Does Canada have an issue with Christmas trees?

Not at all. Having watched that segment of the show, I think she either hit mid-life crisis really hard, or is actually just insane.

I’ll deal with the whole ‘not having tinsel’ thing so long as I continue to proudly rock my Yoda tree-topper.
